BRUGGER: Kayleigh Alexis Brugger was born on September 3, 1993 in Brandon, Manitoba. She was taken to Heaven June 30th, 2011. Kayleigh started school at Waverly Park Elementary and moved to Christian Heritage School in Grade Three. She then attended Vincent Massey High School, and graduated in June 2011. Kayleigh had a passion for Languages, biology and for teaching and mentoring her little kids at the Literacy Centre. In high school, Kayleigh was involved with many different activities including; Spanish Club, Spanish Tutoring, Youth Revolution, Latin Dancing, Youth for Christ, and the YFC Literacy Centre. Kayleigh loved to travel on school trips, take vacations with her family and spend time at the lake all year round. Throughout her life, she enjoyed playing her harp, taking voice lessons, playing games, water skiing, tubing, snowmobiling, and she loved to dance. In 2010, Kayleigh met her boyfriend, Paul Tschuschba. She loved to spend time with Paul and his wonderful family. Their love will continue forever. Kayleigh loved God and was always willing to share her faith. Her love for God not only came through the words she spoke, but through her daily actions. Kayleigh was eager to lend a hand to people, was always there to help, and enjoyed talking with everyone. In the summer of 2010, she worked with the homeless on the streets of Vancouver where her instinctive ability to reach out to those in need shone. Kayleigh also loved to put together and deliver hampers to Brandon families at Christmas. Kayleigh treasured life and always said "I love you" as she gave out her hugs. She blessed those around her with genuine compassion and understanding. Kayleigh wanted to change the world and make it a better place for everyone. A Celebration of Kayleigh's Life was held at Central United Church on July 9, 2011. Pastor Joel Klemick of The Gate Church Community officiated. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery.
